Step into Insights
The app shows no data / zeros.
Step into Insights needs permission to read Apple Health. Grant access in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Step into Insights and turn the categories on, then reopen the app. In the app, Settings → Your data & privacy shows the Health card, where you can ask for access again or open iOS Settings.
Is my health data private?
Yes. Everything is analyzed on your iPhone and never leaves your device. See our Privacy Policy.
How do subscriptions and the free trial work?
Premium is available monthly or annually (with a free trial), or as a one-time lifetime purchase, through the App Store. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Use Restore Purchases in the app's Settings if a purchase doesn't appear.
Why does it ask for so many Health types?
Extra signals (heart rate, HRV, sleep, etc.) power the optional readiness, strain, and recovery insights. The app still works with just steps — anything you don't grant is simply skipped, never guessed.
Are the scores medical advice?
No. Readiness, Recovery, Strain, Training Load and every other number in the app are metrics calculated from the data Apple Health has for you. They are not medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment, and they don't replace a doctor. If you have a health concern, or before you change how you exercise, talk to a qualified healthcare professional.
Which languages does the app speak?
English, Español, Français, Deutsch, Italiano, Nederlands and Português (Brasil). The app follows your iPhone's language. More languages are coming soon.
How do I delete my data?
All app data lives on your device and in any iCloud or computer backup of it. Deleting the app removes it from the device; delete the backup too if you want it gone everywhere. Your Health data stays in Apple Health.
